Human Resource Office Manager (Transportation)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resource Office Manager to join our dynamic transportation company. As the HR Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing HR functions, maintaining efficient office operations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and employee record management.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and selection of candidates.
  • Ensure accurate employee data entry and maintain HR documentation in compliance with relevant policies.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for employees, ensuring they are aligned with company goals.
  • Handle employee relations matters, offering guidance and support on conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee payroll and compensation processes, working closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate pay distribution.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with legal requirements.
  • Manage HR-related communications within the company, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Maintain and update the offices HR management system and other relevant tools.
  • Assist in implementing and driving initiatives that improve employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Support the leadership team in strategic decision-making related to staffing and workforce planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR or office management role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or office management, preferably in the transportation sector.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, payroll software, and recruitment platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations and labor laws relevant to the transportation industry is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
