Human Resources Intern (Part-time, Work-from-Home)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have all necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations for management.
  • Help organize HR-related events, such as training sessions and employee engagement activities.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in HR and a desire to build a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Experience:

  • This is an entry-level position. No prior professional HR experience is required.
  • Any previous internships or volunteer work in HR or administration is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Part-time role with flexible working hours.
  • Expected to work approximately 15-20 hours per week.
  • Remote position with the ability to set your own schedule.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of HR functions and basic employment law.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual environment.

  • A high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
