Job Summary:

Amazon Business is seeking a dynamic and experienced Integration Support Engineer to join our innovative team. As an Integration Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration between Amazon Business and our diverse range of external and internal systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and customer support, to address integration challenges and optimize our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Design and Implementation: Develop and implement integration solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of Amazon Business systems. Ensure that integrations meet business requirements and align with technical standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert support for integration issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems. Act as a primary point of contact for integration-related inquiries from internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand integration needs and deliver effective solutions. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality integrations.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor integration processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, including technical specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Customer Focus: Collaborate with Amazon Business customers to understand their integration needs and provide tailored solutions. Offer exceptional customer service and support throughout the integration lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and APIs. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for integration tasks, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues. Demonstrated analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of integration work. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in cross-functional team settings and managing stakeholder expectations.

Experience:

  • Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar integration support or engineering role, preferably within a large-scale enterprise environment. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Working Hours:

  • Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours. Flexibility to accommodate occasional off-hours support or on-call duties as needed.
