Job Role : Senior IT Engineer
What You will Be Doing
As part of NVIDIAs dynamic IT team, you’ll drive operational excellence and lead initiatives that improve efficiency, system reliability, and business outcomes. Your role will span collaboration, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement across global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with management and stakeholders to define and implement support strategies, streamline operations, and identify future process enhancements across NVIDIA IT.
* Lead cross-functional initiatives to remove friction in daily operations and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions.
* Investigate and resolve complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to improve system resilience.
* Conduct post-incident reviews, identify trends, and introduce preventive measures to enhance operational stability.
* Collaborate with Tier 3 engineering to identify and implement automation solutions that reduce ticket volumes and improve resolution times.
* Support and mentor Tier 1 support teams, ensuring accurate documentation of systems, processes, and incident response protocols.
* Maintain and enhance internal tools and solutions to meet evolving business needs.
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies and proactively introduce improvements aligned with business objectives.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
* 5+ years in enterprise IT support or infrastructure engineering roles.
* Strong background in system administration, operations, and infrastructure across Linux/Unix, Windows/Mac, Microsoft Stack (AD, Exchange), and network infrastructure (Cisco).
* Experience with ITSM platforms like Jira and ServiceNow for incident tracking, reporting, and analysis.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills—especially in translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.
