Fresher Jobs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Service Center Supervisor to lead our overnight team. This role is crucial for ensuring our IT service center operates smoothly during nighttime hours, providing exceptional support to our clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the nightly operations of the IT service center, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical issues.
- Supervise a team of IT support specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor ticketing systems to prioritize and assign tasks, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with other departments to address escalated issues and improve overall service quality.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance metrics, discuss challenges, and celebrate achievements.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance and service trends to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to continuously improve service offerings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or service management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT service desk or technical support environment.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Working Hours
- This position requires overnight shifts, typically from 10 PM to 6 AM. Flexibility to adjust hours as needed for team coverage and operational demands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and enterprise applications.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members in technical and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
