Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality software applications in alignment with project specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional software.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure optimal application performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application design, coding processes, and user manuals.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to enhance software development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.
• Agile Practices: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django) and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development or application development roles.
• Experience in developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Working Hours

• This is a full-time remote position with flexible working hours. Employees are expected to be available for collaboration during core business hours (9 AM – 5 PM in your respective time zone).
