Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist users in setting up and configuring their devices and applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
- Conduct regular system checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials for users.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Background in customer service is a plus.
Working Hours
- This is a full-time remote position. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate client needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of network configurations and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices is advantageous.
