Role Overview
We are inviting applications for the position of Junior Engineer – Renewable Energy, supporting the energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives of the Kochi Metro project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed energy audits of metro systems to identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency, in close coordination with the client.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, electrical system specifications, tender documents, and cost–benefit analyses to ensure installations and operations meet standards and client expectations.
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems while ensuring full compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Profile & Required Skills
- Graduate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience Requirements:
- Graduates: Minimum 2 years relevant experience, including at least 1 year in renewable energy.
- Diploma holders: Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in renewable energy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment, demonstrating respect for differences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly within an integrated project delivery setting, applying industry best practices.
