Position Summary:
The Laboratory Engineer position is a developmental role designed for individuals who aspire to build a career at the intersection of technology, regulatory compliance, and project management. This role provides hands-on experience with international EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and RF (Radio Frequency) certification processes — essential for ensuring that cutting-edge digital and IT products meet global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Laboratory Operations & Testing
- Conduct and support a wide range of EMC/RF laboratory tests according to international standards.
- Organize and analyze test data, interpret results, and identify potential issues or failures.
- Perform troubleshooting on test setups and instrumentation to ensure accurate measurements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, performance, and safety compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing procedures and quality processes.
2. Project & Certification Management
- Manage multi-national product certification projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare technical quotations and project proposals based on product design and testing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand technical needs and provide professional guidance.
- Develop detailed product test plans and oversee testing schedules to meet deadlines.
- Review and validate test data, generate comprehensive test reports, and submit documentation for regulatory approvals.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality management standards.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation accuracy and process adherence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to laboratory accreditation efforts.
4. Team Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing activities and project deliverables.
- Assist colleagues in ongoing research, process optimization, and technical problem-solving.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and skill development within the laboratory team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding or keen interest in EMC/RF testing and international compliance standards (e.g., FCC, CE, IC, VCCI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 or laboratory quality systems is an advantage.
