Fresher Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Specialist to join our remote administrative support team for a long-term, full-time position. This role is ideal for candidates based in the United States who have strong data management, Excel, and administrative coordination skills.

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and organizing large volumes of data across multiple systems while providing administrative support to various departments. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, and smooth information flow within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong grasp of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and update data into spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems.

  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries using Excel functions and formulas (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, etc.).

  • Support administrative and back-office operations such as file management, record keeping, and document organization.

  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating dashboards and performance tracking tools.

  • Respond to data-related queries and provide administrative assistance to cross-functional teams.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company data protection policies.

  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and communicate any issues promptly.

  • Support management with ad-hoc projects involving research, reporting, and data analysis.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data visualization, and formatting).

  • Strong command of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) or similar cloud-based tools.

  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 WPM preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, project management platforms, or ERP systems is a plus.


Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data entry, office administration, or database management.

  • Prior experience working remotely or with distributed teams preferred.

  • Experience supporting administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment will be an advantage.


Working Hours:

  • Full-Time, Remote Role (USA Based)

  • Monday to Friday, standard U.S. business hours (PST or EST time zone flexibility).

  • Occasional weekend or overtime work may be required during high-volume periods.

  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.

  • Ability to identify data trends and anomalies quickly.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining team collaboration.
