Job Title: Office Manager – Munich, Germany

Job Description

  • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day site operations, working closely with local site leadership, the Regional Real Estate & Site Services (RESS) Lead, and employees.

  • Manage core office services, including reception, security, health and safety (EHS), ergonomic programs, food and beverage, office supplies, and recycling initiatives.

  • Monitor and improve employee experience through feedback channels such as surveys, suggestion boxes, and town halls—translating insights into actionable plans.

  • Coordinate with RESS leadership to implement site-level programs and ensure alignment with global standards.

  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, and oversee vendor and service contracts to ensure compliance and quality.

  • Plan and oversee office space usage, seating arrangements, and occupancy needs—ensuring efficient space utilization.

  • Lead office expansion and relocation projects, including facilities management (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), in collaboration with regional support teams.

  • Serve as the liaison for landlord property management and ensure high service standards for facility-related matters.

  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition on local onboarding, university events, and recruiting support.

  • Coordinate with IT teams to meet on-site technology needs, including video conferencing and telecom systems.

What We are Looking For

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional training/experience.

  • 7+ years in office, facilities, or site operations management—ideally in a multinational or fast-paced tech environment.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).

  • Energetic, reliable, and able to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments.

  • Capable of working independently while maintaining alignment with broader regional and global strategies.
