Manufacturing & Engineering Technical Manager

Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing & Engineering Technical Manager to oversee and enhance our manufacturing processes and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing operations while driving technological advancements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities to manage teams, optimize workflows, and implement innovative solutions to meet our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the manufacturing and engineering teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and increase production efficiency.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and systems.
• Monitor and evaluate production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and supply chain, to align manufacturing processes with organizational goals.
• Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines to ensure successful completion of engineering projects.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to support their professional growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in manufacturing management and engineering, with a strong understanding of production processes and technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in process optimization and project management.
• Proficient in manufacturing software and tools, such as CAD, ERP systems, and data analysis software.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering management role.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with a standard workweek of 40 hours. Flexibility may be required based on project needs and deadlines.
