Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and supporting campaign execution. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the marketing team to help develop and implement strategies that drive brand growth and online engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of online marketing campaigns.

• Assist in content creation for social media, email newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials.

• Maintain and update the companys website and social media pages.

• Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.

• Track and report performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.

• Manage email marketing lists and help segment audiences for targeted communication.

• Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce high-quality marketing materials.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign alignment across departments.

• Monitor industry trends and share relevant insights with the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or currently pursuing) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

• Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

• Knowledge of basic marketing principles and digital tools.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Experience

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in marketing or administrative support.

• Internships, college projects, or freelance marketing experience will be considered an advantage.

• Freshers are encouraged to apply, provided they possess a learning mindset and basic marketing knowledge.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours.

• Availability for team meetings and check-ins during core hours (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST).

• Part-time and full-time options available depending on the candidates availability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of SEO, basic content marketing, and email marketing principles.

• Familiarity with Canva or any design tool is a plus.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
