Material Handler – Colorado Springs, CO

In this physically active position, you will be responsible for moving, loading, and staging steel materials throughout our facility.
We are looking for someone who is safety-conscious, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You will Do
- Load, unload, and handle heavy steel components safely and efficiently.
- Stage materials in designated areas for processing using overhead cranes or other equipment.
- Load/unload paint carts and trailers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and product flow.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Collaborate with multiple departments including painting, prep, and logistics.
- Identify and address quality or safety issues promptly.
What You Bring
Required:
- Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., email, Microsoft Office).
Preferred:
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or production environments.
- Experience with forklifts, order picking, shipping/receiving, or general labor.
- Basic understanding of metal types and handling.
