Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine clerical and operational support tasks to ensure the timely and accurate processing of work. You will play a key role in handling incoming and outgoing documents, maintaining records, and supporting daily workflow operations under established guidelines and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical and administrative tasks in accordance with defined procedures.
- Receive, log, batch, and distribute work assignments.
- Handle filing, photocopying, scanning, and basic phone operations.
- Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Follow established procedures and regularly seek guidance from supervisors.
- Escalate questions or issues to senior team members when required.
Virtual Keying Process Responsibilities
- Manually capture check details (amount and MICR line) that fail Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate crediting of client accounts.
- Maintain high speed and accuracy in data entry and numeric keying (10-Key proficiency required).
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or irregularities during processing.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to identify risks and implement process improvements and control measures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, education, or military service.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in high-speed typing / number keying (10-Key).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
- Quick learner with strong information retention.
- Experience in data entry, typing, or data processing roles.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
