Overnight Freight Team Associate (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

As an Overnight Freight Team Associate at Home Depot, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is well-stocked and organized for our customers. This part-time position involves working overnight to receive and organize freight, ensuring products are readily available for our customers during store hours. You will contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail and efficiency are key to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload freight shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and placed in their designated areas.
• Organize and stock products on shelves, ensuring they are displayed according to company standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and deadlines.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Support inventory management efforts, including conducting stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in locating products when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or inventory management preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Part-time positions available, with shifts typically scheduled overnight.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
