What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and user experience for key areas of our core product, guiding initiatives from concept to launch.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering leads to translate company strategy into prioritized roadmap initiatives, identifying the most meaningful problems to solve.
- Tackle ambiguous challenges with clarity, prioritize high-impact work, and align cross-functional teams around solutions.
- Sweat the details while striving for simplicity, connecting complex projects to create approachable, cohesive experiences.
- Champion user-centric design by leveraging direct customer insights. Explore solutions, prototype, and analyze user feedback/data to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously iterate on our core products and experiences, advocating for users and consistently delivering value.
- Collaborate with the design team to shape our long-term product vision, evolve design systems, brand guidelines, and internal design processes.
- Actively participate in team rituals such as design critiques, story creation, and stand-ups.
- Support the growth of the design team by helping recruit talented designers and bringing diverse perspectives to our process.
- Mentor and guide the next generation of designers through our internship program.
What You Need
- 10+ years of experience in tech/startups or digital product agencies, or equivalent.
- Proven track record in end-to-end product design, including both UX and UI.
- Hands-on experience working with developers and PMs to build and ship applications or software.
- Exceptional visual design skills and strong understanding of UX principles.
- Expertise in visual/interaction design, UX/UI, branding & identity, and typography.
- Proficiency in low- and high-fidelity prototyping.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
