Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our Oil and Gas team. This role is integral to our operational success and will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing processes critical to safe and efficient oil and gas production. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate systems for oil and gas extraction, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform data analysis to monitor and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Safety, and Maintenance, to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, government regulations, and company policies related to safety and environmental protection.
- Conduct risk assessments and apply mitigation measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve process efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the oil and gas sector. Entry-level candidates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Full-time position; 40 hours per week.
- Standard office hours, with potential for occasional site visits or fieldwork, which may require flexibility in working hours.
