We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Medium Voltage Drives division. This entry level role is ideal for someone with experience supporting product orders preferably within a manufacturing environment under the guidance of a Project Manager.
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in assisting Project Managers with planning, executing, and closing projects in alignment with defined scope, schedule, and budget. Acting as a central hub for project documentation and coordination, this role ensures consistent implementation of core business processes and maintains comprehensive project records throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the documentation and clarification of project scope to improve project success and minimize risk.
- Assist in developing detailed project plans and associated communication documents.
- Apply established project management processes and principles across all aspects of project execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Partner with the Project Manager to estimate required resources and participants to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as needed.
- Assist in drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommend budget adjustments under senior leadership direction.
- Monitor for scope changes, notify the Project Manager of potential scope creep, and support development of change order pricing.
- Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and methodologies; escalate identified risks or issues.
- Document meeting minutes and maintain organized project documentation in accordance with factory standards.
- Ensure accurate and accessible project records for the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
Education & Qualifications
- Background in Project Management, including prior project coordination or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field preferred (not required).
- Technical knowledge of electric motors or drive systems is an asset but not required.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, multitasking ability, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
