Job Summary

As a part-time Receiving Associate at Home Depot, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store maintains optimal inventory levels and that products are readily available for our customers. This position involves managing the receiving and processing of merchandise, while providing exceptional service and support to our team and customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and Process Deliveries: Accurately unload merchandise from delivery trucks, inspect items for damage, and verify quantities against packing slips.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and store received products in designated areas, ensuring they are easily accessible for stock replenishment.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with inquiries about product availability and help locate items throughout the store.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other associates to support efficient store operations and help achieve team goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory management and processing.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods, as well as perform repetitive tasks.

Experience
