We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Certified Professional Coders (CPC) to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for newly certified coders who are ready to begin their career in medical coding and gain hands-on experience in a supportive, development-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Active AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential (required)

  • Recent graduates or newly certified coders are encouraged to apply

  • Understanding of CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS guidelines

  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems is a plus, but not required


Responsibilities

As an entry-level CPC, your responsibilities may include:

  • Reviewing medical documentation to assign accurate CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes

  • Ensuring coding aligns with payer rules, compliance standards, and organizational guidelines

  • Supporting audits, QA reviews, and accuracy checks under supervision

  • Communicating with senior coders or supervisors for feedback and clarification

  • Participating in training sessions, coding workshops, and skill-building activities

  • Assisting with basic documentation or coding-related administrative tasks

  • Learning specialty-specific coding workflows as you grow in the role


Requirements

  • Active CPC certification

  • Reliable computer and secure high-speed internet connection

  • Ability to work remotely in a professional, HIPAA-compliant workspace

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Ability to meet productivity expectations as training progresses
