Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to users via phone, email, and chat, addressing IT-related inquiries and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
- Document and track issues using our ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware.
- Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and enhance user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and IT best practices.
- Conduct remote training sessions for users on new software and tools.
- Assist in managing IT inventory and ensuring all equipment is accounted for and in good working condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in a technical support role or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications (MS Office, VPNs, remote desktop tools).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Previous experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with core availability from 9 AM to 5 PM (GMT).
- Ability to accommodate occasional after-hours support as needed.
