Job Summary
Aetna, a CVS Health company, is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Document Controller to join our remote workforce. This position involves maintaining, managing, and safeguarding critical company documents while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize company records and documentation in a systematic and secure manner.
- Ensure documents are accurate, up-to-date, and meet all compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Create, review, and update documentation policies and templates.
- Manage document workflows, approvals, and version control.
- Collaborate with internal teams to retrieve and distribute documents as needed.
- Conduct periodic audits of documentation systems and processes to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
- Provide support and training to employees on document management systems and protocols.
- Prepare reports on documentation status, compliance metrics, and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role.
- Proficiency in document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements in a corporate setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in document control or a related administrative role.
- Experience working in remote or hybrid teams is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with flexible remote working hours.
- Availability during standard business hours for virtual meetings and collaboration.
