Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor and manage budgetary performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for cost savings.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses is a plus.
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and software is advantageous.

Working Hours
