As a QA Intern, you will work closely with our development and product teams to test software applications, identify bugs, and ensure that products meet high-quality standards before release. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability.

  • Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and design effective test cases.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.

  • Participate in regression, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data for web and mobile applications.

  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure that testing processes align with industry best practices.

  • Conduct performance and security checks for software components as required.

  • Communicate testing results clearly and contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality.

  • Stay updated on emerging QA tools, trends, and automation technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.

  • Basic understanding of software testing principles, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

  • Familiarity with manual testing techniques and basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress).

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.

  • Good knowledge of bug-tracking and version control systems such as JIRA, Git, or GitHub.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.

Experience:

  • Freshers, final-year students, or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience through academic projects, online courses, or personal software testing projects will be an added advantage.

  • No prior work experience is mandatory.

Working Hours:

  • Remote and flexible schedule, allowing you to balance academics and work.

  • Expected commitment: 15–25 hours per week.

  • Internship duration: 3 to 6 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of test case design, execution, and bug reporting processes.

  • Basic knowledge of web technologies, databases, and APIs.

  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation scripting (JavaScript, Python, or Java preferred).

  • Problem-solving mindset with a passion for improving software performance and user experience.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment.

  • Eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and QA methodologies.
