Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential customers and market segments within the EdTech industry.

  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate and qualify sales leads.

  • Engage prospects through consultative conversations to understand their learning or institutional needs.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to convert leads into opportunities.

  • Schedule meetings and product demos for senior sales executives or account managers.

  • Maintain and update the CRM system with all customer interactions and sales activities.

  • Follow up with inbound leads generated through campaigns, webinars, and social media promotions.

  • Track metrics and goals, including the number of calls, meetings scheduled, and opportunities created.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to improve lead quality and campaign performance.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and new educational technologies.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong interest in sales, business development, and the EdTech sector.

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

  • Comfortable engaging in cold calls, virtual meetings, and email communications.

  • Basic understanding of CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho) is an advantage.

  • Ability to handle rejection positively and maintain persistence in follow-ups.

  • Proficient with digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and MS Teams.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the sales and marketing function.


Experience:

  • Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, or lead generation is a plus.

  • Internship experience in EdTech, SaaS, or marketing will be advantageous but not mandatory.


Working Hours:

  • Remote, full-time position with flexible scheduling options.

  • Standard work hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST).

  • Occasional evening or weekend calls may be required depending on client time zones.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of sales funnels, lead qualification frameworks (BANT, SPIN, etc.), and conversion processes.

  • Ability to conduct research on educational institutions, e-learning platforms, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to communicate value propositions effectively.

  • Strong analytical mindset to assess lead potential and identify growth opportunities.

  • Ability to adapt communication styles based on different customer personas.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new sales tools, EdTech products, and systems quickly.
