Research Administrator (Part Time)

Job Summary

Fresher Job is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Research Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our research initiatives by managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of research processes and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to help streamline our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of research proposals, grants, and contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage research projects, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and funding agency requirements.
  • Liaise with faculty, researchers, and external partners to gather necessary information and provide support throughout the research lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular audits of research data and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations related to research activities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about funding opportunities and disseminate relevant information to faculty and researchers.
  • Support training and development initiatives related to research administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Research Administration, or related discipline).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with research management software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.

Experience

  • Prior experience in research administration, project management, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with research funding agencies and grant submission processes is an advantage.
  • Experience in a higher education or research institution setting is a plus.

Working Hours

This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible working hours can be arranged to accommodate the candidates schedule.
