Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Specialist to enhance the quality and integrity of our sales and market data. This role is critical in maintaining accurate records in Salesforce, researching renewable energy projects, and supporting reporting and analysis for the sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency, strong organizational skills, and a passion for data accuracy, enabling informed business decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Download, organize, and update monthly datasets from public renewable energy databases.
- Research and enrich project records with essential details (e.g., ownership, interconnection voltage, operational data) before updating Salesforce.
- Maintain high-quality data across Salesforce and Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) for Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Campaigns, and Renewable Energy Projects.
- Perform ongoing data cleansing, deduplication, and validation to ensure consistent and accurate records.
- Conduct regular data validation using web and industry sources to confirm mergers, acquisitions, rebranding, project sales, and closures.
- Support campaign segmentation, list management, and nurture tracks to enhance lead quality and engagement.
- Leverage tools such as Seamless.ai to enrich prospect and account data.
- Follow standard operating procedures and contribute feedback for continuous process improvements.
Qualifications & Education
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Data Management.
- University degree.
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to validate and verify data using web, database, and industry research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience managing and optimizing Salesforce data.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Software Knowledge
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM (Reports, Dashboards, and Data Management).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables.
- Familiarity with data enrichment platforms (e.g., Seamless.ai) is a plus.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ETL (Export, Transform, Load) processes.
- Experience working with U.S.-based teams or clients.
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
