Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software applications.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices in testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure effective testing coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Automate testing processes using industry-standard tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide feedback on software quality and potential issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance testing strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Experience in leading testing projects from inception to completion.
- Prior experience in agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams is preferred.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate project deadlines or team needs.
