Job Summary
American Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Specialist, IT Inventory Support (Warehouse) to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and availability of IT inventory assets, supporting internal teams with timely equipment deployment, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and performance of IT systems critical to airline operations.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, catalog, and organize incoming IT hardware and peripheral devices.

Track and maintain accurate records of IT inventory, including stock levels and asset locations.

Coordinate the distribution and return of IT equipment to internal departments and locations.

Perform regular audits of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.

Manage warranty and support documentation for hardware assets.

Work closely with the procurement team to manage purchase orders and vendor relationships.

Ensure all inventory movements are accurately logged in the inventory management system.

Support asset lifecycle processes including deployment, decommissioning, and disposal.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse facility.

Follow company and industry-standard safety protocols and IT asset management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Basic knowledge of IT hardware components and networking equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) safely and effectively.
Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or IT support roles.

Prior experience handling IT assets in a fast-paced or enterprise environment is highly desirable.

Familiarity with IT asset management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is a plus.
Working Hours

Full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with occasional overtime or weekend support as needed during peak inventory periods or special projects.
