Specialist, IT Inventory Support (Warehouse)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of IT inventory within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and systems.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with IT teams to assess inventory needs and ensure timely availability of IT assets.
• Implement and maintain best practices for inventory control and management.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to inventory levels, usage, and forecasting.
• Provide support during audits and compliance checks as required.
• Facilitate the disposal of obsolete or damaged IT equipment in accordance with company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in an IT or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory support or a similar role.
• Familiarity with IT hardware and software components is highly desirable.
• Experience with data entry and inventory tracking systems.

Working Hours

• Full-time position; 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business needs.

• Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Proficient in using barcode scanners and other inventory tracking tools.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate inventory data and identify trends.
