The Stock Checker will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the availability of products, and supporting the overall operations of our inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records, and report findings.
  • Assist in organizing and labeling stock to facilitate easy access and identification.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and orderly stockroom.
  • Support the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to procedures.
  • Utilize inventory management software to update stock levels and generate reports as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with stock inquiries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using computers and inventory management software.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting and reporting.

Experience

  • Previous experience in stock management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes and procedures is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible part-time hours, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
  • Schedule may vary based on business needs and candidate availability.
