Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary systems engineering contact across several projects, bridging technical gaps between cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Define and design system behaviors such as power-on sequences, operational modes, self-tests, and fail-safes.

Advocate for systems engineering best practices, ensuring practical development and delivery of products that meet customer needs.

Gather, analyze, and critically assess customer requirements to ensure clarity and feasibility.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve design ambiguities and inform system-level decisions.

Define and manage system and sub-system interfaces, especially at key integration or handover points.

Promote reuse and standardization of existing solutions and components to maximize efficiency.

Lead core systems engineering activities including system architecture definition, interface development, requirements management, and safety analysis.

Contribute to system validation and verification efforts to ensure design compliance.

Tailor and improve engineering processes to enhance repeatability and value across projects.

Support the delivery of assigned project scope within approved budgets and schedules.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education & Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience applying structured engineering processes throughout the product development lifecycle.

Proven track record in delivering key systems engineering outputs such as requirements definition, interface control, change management, safety assessments, and verification evidence.

Experience working with embedded systems and an ability to decompose and allocate software-related system requirements.

Background in power electronics is advantageous, though systems engineering expertise is the primary requirement.
Skills & Competencies

Broad understanding of systems engineering across the full development lifecycle.

Familiarity with both Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and traditional requirements methodologies.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with systems testing and validation.

Exposure to power systems and associated technologies.

Proficiency in requirements management tools such as JAMA, DOORS, Polarion, or similar.

Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., sprints, scrums) and tools like Jira for workflow and task management.
