Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Technical Support / Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with technical issues, resolving inquiries, and providing a high level of support through multiple communication channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Assist customers with installation, setup, and configuration of products or services.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and effective assistance.
- Document issues and solutions accurately in the companys support system.
- Collaborate with the technical team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Follow up with customers to ensure successful issue resolution and satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new products, services, and support protocols.
- Continuously improve personal technical knowledge and customer service skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a clear and professional manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with customer service software, CRM tools, or support ticket systems is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a remote environment and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Experience
- Previous experience in a technical support or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Experience in troubleshooting common technical issues related to devices, software, or connectivity will be advantageous.
- Experience in handling high-volume customer inquiries in a remote or virtual setting is a plus.
Working Hours
- This is a remote, full-time position.
- Flexible working hours with the ability to work from any location.
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on customer demand.
