Key Responsibilities

Plant & Technical Support

  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams across Niagara facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production machinery as needed.
  • Partner with engineering and plant teams to improve long-term equipment performance.
  • Support Focus Line Process initiatives and operational improvements.

Diagnostic & Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct site diagnostic visits to assess equipment condition and identify wear or performance issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify parts, labor, and maintenance requirements for annual rebuilds and overhauls.

Rebuilds & Overhauls

  • Work with cross-functional teams and plant maintenance staff during planned shutdowns.
  • Prepare machine centers for repairs and rebuild projects.
  • Execute equipment restoration activities to improve efficiency and reliability.

Training & Development

  • Attend machine-specific master class training programs.
  • Support skills assessments for Engineering Technicians.
  • Train technicians through on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
  • Recommend additional training modules to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Assist in developing and improving Niagara’s technical training systems.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, field service, or similar industrial environments.
  • 4+ years of experience with aseptic CIP/SIP validation and sterile boundary control.
  • 2+ years of experience with aseptic isolator integrity, peroxide systems, and sterilization parameters.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Positive sterile pressure systems
    • Microbial contamination prevention
    • Validated airflow and overpressure control

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven with strong initiative and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership skills in both team and solo environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability in fast-changing production environments.
  • Sound judgment and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant machine centers.
