In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ultra-heavy vehicles and equipment to various job sites. Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultra-heavy motor vehicles, including but not limited to, dump trucks, heavy haulers, and specialized transport vehicles.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Safely transport heavy equipment to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to plan optimal routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, routes, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate transport needs.
• Assist in loading and unloading vehicles as necessary, ensuring proper handling of heavy equipment.
• Participate in training and safety meetings to stay updated on best practices and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for ultra-heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance, including basic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and traditional maps.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Good physical fitness to manage loading, unloading, and securing cargo.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving ultra-heavy motor vehicles in a commercial setting.
• Proven track record of safe driving and compliance with industry regulations.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, requiring flexibility in hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• On-call availability for urgent transport needs.
