UPS – Warehouse Worker​/Package Handler

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, package, and prepare items for shipment.
• Load and unload packages from delivery trucks and conveyor belts.
• Utilize warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks and forklifts, to facilitate the movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of package movements and inventory levels.
• Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 70 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for handling inventory and package counts.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or package handling is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Flexible scheduling options, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
