Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Visual Designer for Power BI Dashboards to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing compelling and user-friendly Power BI dashboards that not only look visually stunning but also simplify complex data for business decision-makers. This role bridges the gap between data analysis and user experience, combining design aesthetics with data visualization best practices to deliver impactful business intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to gather visualization requirements.

Design and enhance Power BI dashboard visuals, ensuring clarity, user-friendliness, and alignment with brand standards.

Develop custom themes, layouts, icons, and design assets that elevate the overall user experience.

Optimize dashboard performance while maintaining visual appeal.

Translate raw data into intuitive and interactive visuals to support business insights.

Ensure visual consistency across multiple dashboards and reports.

Stay updated on best practices in data visualization and user experience design.

Conduct usability testing to validate design effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Data Visualization, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong portfolio showcasing dashboard or data visualization work—particularly in Power BI.

Proficiency in Power BI, including knowledge of visuals, themes, bookmarks, and design formatting.

Solid understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.

Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or other prototyping/design tools.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple reports.
Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in visual design, UI/UX, or dashboard design (preferably in a data-driven environment).

Prior experience in designing dashboards using Power BI is a must.

Experience working remotely and across cross-functional teams is an added advantage.
Working Hours

Flexible remote working hours

Expected availability for collaborative meetings between 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday)

Occasional evening meetings may be required depending on project needs or time zones of stakeholders.
