Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying items against purchase orders.
  • Organize and store merchandise in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of all products.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory management.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is preferred but can be learned on the job.

Working Hours

  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Shifts may vary, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Overtime may be required during peak seasons.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
