Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Processing Shipments: Unload, sort, and verify incoming shipments while ensuring that inventory is accurately recorded and stored.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently (training provided).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education level required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks while standing for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience
- Warehouse or Retail Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
