Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to oversee our bustling warehouse operations. This role is crucial to ensuring efficient and effective warehousing processes, from managing staff and inventory to optimizing storage solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to drive the success of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, perform regular audits, and develop strategies to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock rotation.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes, workflows, and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that warehouse operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment maintenance.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze performance reports, track key metrics, and present findings to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with barcode scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, vendors, and senior management.
Experience
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a similar sector is advantageous, but not required. Experience with managing large-scale warehouse operations is preferred.
Working Hours
- Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work outside of regular hours may be required based on operational needs.
