Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehousing operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries and order fulfillment.
- Oversee warehouse layout and space optimization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and recommend changes as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and enhance operational workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy items as needed.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required.
