Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
- Organize and maintain inventory by storing products in designated areas and performing regular stock checks.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are securely packed and labeled correctly.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks and managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and address any issues that arise.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time positions are available, with shifts typically ranging from 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Flexible schedules may be offered, including opportunities for overtime.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and order processing.
