Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Package Sorting: Efficiently sort packages by size, weight, and destination to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, containers, and sorting equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to verify the integrity of packages and identify any damages or issues before shipment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize packages efficiently.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment and prevent workplace accidents.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing any package-related inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 70 pounds and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to ensure packages are correctly sorted and processed.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with basic warehouse technology and equipment, including barcode scanners and conveyor systems.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with equipment operation and inventory management is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Shifts may vary and include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
